"Herrenhaeuser" is a private brewery in Hanover-Herrenhausen. Established in 1868 and now owned by the family Schulz-Hausbrandt, "Herrenhaeuser" is the best known Hanoverian beer of today. Beer enthusiasts simply call it "Herri" and everybody knows what that means. On the logo of this brand you find a rearing pretty white horse on red background – the well-known "Niedersachsenross" (emblem horse of Lower Saxony).
